Hi everyone

I’m so grateful to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to travel to Guatemala on a medical mission trip with VIDA Volunteer.

This opportunity means so much more to me than just a trip. Over the past few years, I’ve been working toward my dream of becoming a doctor, and I’ve learned that for me, healthcare isn’t just about medicine it’s about showing up for people, especially in moments when they need it most.

I have such a big heart for helping others, and this experience will allow me to step outside of my comfort zone and serve communities who may not have consistent access to care. Being able to assist in clinics, connect with patients, and simply be present for people in a meaningful way is something I don’t take lightly.

I know this experience will change me. It will challenge me, grow me, and continue to shape the kind of healthcare provider and person I want to become someone who leads with compassion, understanding, and purpose.
