Help Me Send Sekai to a New School

Donation protected
My name is Veda Cavitt. I'm the proud grandmother of Sekai Southern, a 12 year old boy who has been diagnosed with autism. Recently, when Sekai was between classes at Jones Middle School in Houston, Texas, he was attacked by a fellow student. Three para-professionals saw the incident and did nothing to help protect Sekai, who is non-verbal because of his intellectual disability. The attack on my grandson was unprovoked and captured on school surveillance cameras. The aides were terminated once the local news found out what happened to my grandson, who is too afraid right now to go back to that school. I am raising money to pay for tuition to send Sekai to a private school for children with autism where he will be safe and secure in the classroom. I also need funds to help pay for mental health therapy for him. Since this incident happened, Sekai has been having nightmares and is very afraid of other people. I began taking care of my grandson ten years ago after both his parents were tragically and suddenly killed. I'm an elderly woman on a fixed income, so your assistance would be a blessing to both me and my grandson. God bless you.
