I am excited to share that I have been accepted into Columbia University for my master’s degree! This is a huge achievement for me, and I am eager to take this next step in my education. However, I need help paying the deposit before the deadline so I can secure my spot.

My dream is to help foster children by making it possible for them to get their bachelor’s degrees and have their housing paid for, just like I was able to as a foster child adopted in Connecticut. However, that privilege is only granted to foster children in Connecticut and the same policy does not apply to other states. By doing research and earning my degree in Quantitative Methods of Social Sciences at Columbia, an Ivy League school, I will gain the expertise and connections I need to make a real difference in the lives of foster youth.
