Help me secure my Degree & Independence

Hi,

I'm a student in France in my 20's trying to finish my degree and break free from a toxic family situation.

This post will be anonymous so relatives will not get involved and so my mother won't be aware either.

Due to emotional abuse at home, I’m being pushed out by my mother — even though the apartment is under my name. I’ve been living in the back of her old shop, which has no direct windows and gets very cold or hot depending on the weather. It’s not a healthy or safe environment, physically or mentally.

To be transparent: she does cover the rent, and I give what I can each month.

But the situation has become unbearable, and I need to leave for my mental health and safety.

I’m asking for help with a few key things:

- €1000 to pay for my diploma and validate my final exams (which are required to continue my studies next year)

- Funds to cover the first month in a new apartment so I can rebuild on my own

NEW: I have been taking care of a cat that appeared at my place a little over a week ago and found her today unable to stand and in pain, brought to the vet and even with the vet taking down as much as possible it is still around 1000€ to have surgery for her leg, as her left leg basically popped out of her hip.

The amount I've gathered that I would need for all this would be €3000 to make sure I can survive for a little while and take care of everything that is needed.

I am currently making requests at places like "Le secours populaire" to see if they can help me in any way.

I want to add this isn't just a quarrel between my mother and I, she has taken my keys for the apartment upstairs and I will be going to a laundromat to do my laundry even though I am currently -250€ combining both my bank accounts.

I have a couple friends that are willing to help and lend me money but they are tight themselves and I don't want to put them in much trouble.

I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but I don’t have support right now.

Even the smallest donation or a simple share would mean the world to me.
