Help me secure my current housing after abrupt job loss

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

Some of you may know my story and some of you may not. I lost my mother in 2018 to a 3 year battle with cancer. My grandmom in 2019 to covid, my grand father in 2020, my father in 2021 and my beloved dog in 2022. The road after that has been hard. There have been a lot of ups dows. I moved to Minnesota in Jan of 2024 working remotely doing IT Support. After moving to MN, I suffered a severe disc herniation in my neck that left me out of work for almost 4 months. After my FMLA ran out I was not able to return to work due to nerve damage in my right arm. Jan 2025 I landed a job working as an Endpoint Technician and was very much enjoying it. My contract was extended by 6 months and then was abruptly ended on Dec 5th. During this employment I have been working my way out of being paycheck to paycheck and then Dec 5th Happened.

I have strong experience in IT, Security, and Management, and I'm actively applying for new roles in the professional sector. However, the payroll lag means my first stable paycheck will not arrive until mid-to-late January, leaving me vulnerable for the next two months.

This situation has been compounded by difficult personal circumstances. Following the passing of my father, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. The stress of this sudden unemployment has been overwhelming, and I want to be honest: asking for this help is incredibly difficult. I have started as of last month back on my mental health meds for anxiety and my bipolar but these are beginning stages and the does are not even correct yet. This support is the stable ground I need to prevent a full crisis, maintain my health, and successfully secure my next job.
