These past couple of months haven't been the easiest. I've dealt with a lot of family hardships that ultimately lead to me taking in my younger brother, who is 14 years old. I was able to provide a safe space for him. A space where he is able to be a kid and not having to worry about his safety or having to stress out about problems that aren't in his control.  I moved out a few months ago and I rent a room.  It's small but it's cozy. My housemate complained about him living with me to the landlord's mom and ultimately, they asked me to leave as soon as possible. In top of all of this, I have to comply with what our social worker/housing agencies require of me which is for him to have his own room since he is a boy and a teenager. I don't mind sleeping in the living room as long as him and I stay together. I wouldn't want him to end up living in a foster home. We live in Los Angeles and as you're aware, rent is expensive. Moving sucks and it's costly. I am asking for help to secure housing for us. I recently started working again but it is not enough. If you can't donate, I would appreciate if you could just share this story. I am struggling and trying my best - in the end that is all that I could do.
