The anxiety and hesitation that comes with create a go fund me is something that isn’t talked about enough. I don’t want full details out there for everyone to see, partially because of shame, but also because of the fear of the snowball effect that comes with oversharing. But also I can’t help but be transparent because I want people to know I’m hurting for help, not trying to get money for something foolish. This is my family. My child. My whole entire world I’m talking about. Because at this point nothing else matters. I have no choice but to put my pride and self-reliance aside.

Without sharing too much information that could potentially come back to haunt me. I am in need of $5000 in order to retain a family law attorney. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be paying more than triple that amount in the long run to find resolve. In the state of Oregon you can obtain a criminal defense attorney for free if you have no money but if it comes down to your fight for your family, even the advice isn’t free. Everything is so expensive these days that having enough money to survive is a daily struggle. This is an emergency situation directly connected to the safety and whereabouts of my child who has been taken from me. I have received enough suggestions and opinions about fighting this fight myself. But because this situation is not black and white this is the path that I have chosen to take. I do not need criticism or negative input about this situation, especially considering that those reading this do not have full details except for the people directly involved. Nor do I care to explain it to anyone that doesn’t already know what’s going on.
