Help me save Thor

Hi, I never thought I’d be on here writing something like this, and honestly, it’s really hard to even know what to say. I’m only doing this because I’ve run out of options, and I love my bunny, Thor, more than I can put into words.

Thor is so much more than a pet. He’s been my little shadow, my comfort, and my emotional support through some of the hardest seasons of my life. I’ve had him since he was a little baby, and I got to watch him grow up. His 4th birthday is actually June 19th, and it breaks my heart that he may not be here with me. He runs up to me when I call him, he knows his name, and he brings so much life into my world. Ace (his brother) and I love him more than anything.

A couple days ago, he suddenly stopped eating and drinking. I took him to the emergency vet and found out he has a GI obstruction—something that’s extremely dangerous in rabbits. He hasn’t pooped or peed, and his stomach is full of gas. Right now, he’s in the hospital on IV fluids and pain meds, and they’re monitoring him around the clock, hoping he can pass the blockage on his own.

I’ve already exhausted all the help I had. I don’t have a way to pay for the rest of his care, but I’m not giving up on him. I’m not the type to ask for money—I honestly feel really uncomfortable even doing this—but if there’s any way you can help, whether it’s $5 or just sharing this, I would be so grateful.

Every dollar will go directly to Thor’s hospital bills. For treatment to continue, I have to pay half up front each day, and the cost keeps building. Right now, that amount is $2,000 daily, with the rest available to finance. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do this alone.

If you can’t give, I completely understand. Just please pray for him and help spread the word if you can. I pray daily with Thor and Ace. Matthew 18:20 says, “Where two or more are gathered in His name, He is there.” I’m holding onto that promise, and I would be so grateful if you’d pray with me for Thor’s healing.
