Daisy is more than a cat—she’s the light of my life, my best friend, and the reason I get up every morning. Her constant love got me through years of hardships and struggle. When I had no one, Daisy never left my side.
Now my 13-year-old Maine Coon mix has been diagnosed with stage II kidney disease and a heart murmur requiring ongoing cardiology care. Additionally, we discovered a suspicious mass on her leg that needs immediate removal and biopsy.
The good news is that her vet and cardiologist agree that with prompt treatment and proper management, Daisy can have many more good years ahead of her. However, her care is ongoing and the bills are exorbitant.
How You Can Help
Your donation will directly fund her medical expenses and the daily management of her kidney disease. Every dollar will go directly toward:
• Mass removal and biopsy to determine diagnosis and course of treatment
• Cardiology followups and annual EKGs to rule out/treat possible hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
• Dental surgery (cleaning + extractions) to eliminate pain and infection
• Prescription kidney-support diet, supplements, and medications
• Follow-up bloodwork and monitoring of kidney and cardiac function
• Basic quality-of-life support
If you can’t donate, please share this campaign. Every share reaches someone who might be able to help. Thank you to everyone still here reading this.
