Help me save the Abandoned and Dumped Bunnies Of Brantford

Hi my name is Amanda Rickwood . I also go by Mandy. I'm a 28 year old woman who has two bunnies of my own . Since Easter weekend 2025 I have taken in 6 rabbits total 3 have found loving families and I keep getting more calls about dumped or abandoned Rabbits. My mission ? To go out help secure these bunnies vet every single rabbit that comes into my care get them an initial exam get them their RHDV2 vaccine and get them spayed and neutered we offer xpen living for these bunnies we don't believe in small cages . We offer fresh daily vegetables and greens . We offer toys and enrichment and we offer proper diet of 10 percent pellets 10 percent vegetables and 80 percent Timothy hay we also find them loving homes .until recently I have been funding this venture on my own . The brant county SPCA can not take on unspayed or unnuetered or unvaccinated rabbits . If we vet them they can find us help find homes places like rabbit rescue incorporated and pumpkin acres have a huge waitlist they can only take bunnies they have foster homes for and they have refused us help in finding the bunnies homes . We're looking for your help vetting these babies continuing to take them in find them loving homes etc . My capacity for rabbits is 5 as per city regulations at some point I would like to expand become a registered rescue and get a registered charity number 100 percent of the funds go to feeding the bunnies providing enrichment and vet care .
