Hi, my name is Theresa Kat, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart. My dog Teddy is more than just a pet - he's my lifeline, my best friend and my emotional support through some of the darkest times in my life.

Teddy is just 2 and a half years old, full of energy, joy and unconditional love. He has a bright playful spirit and loving soul.

He feels everything I do - he can't bear to see me cry without trying to comfort me. When I've had nothing left, Teddy has been my strength.

This past Weekend Teddy suddenly became very ill and was diagnosed with acute kidney failure caused by a blood infection. It happened so fast, I rushed him to the emergency vet and spent everything I had - my entire paycheck- just to get him the immediate care he needed. But the costs are mounting. His treatment is ongoing and critical, and I'm now facing more vet bills that I simply can't cover.

I'm truly out of options- but I can't give up on Teddy.
