Please help. Strider, my beloved rescue German shepherd had a freak fall and has fractured his spine. He is paralyzed from the waist down. He is the dog that saved my life when I was attacked by my donkey last year. he fearlessly charged in and got the donkey off of me and lured her away from me. I owe him.

I rushed him to UC Davis Veterinary school -amazing facility-and surgery is required. I've gone into as much debt as possible to raise the deposit to proceed. But still have fallen short. Plus the aftercare will require additional expense and funds. I'm so sorry to ask but he deserves a chance. If anyone can help save him please consider making a lil donation towards his medical expenses. Normally I'm not an advocate of spending large sums of money on animals. However he was injured because of human error. He is also young and vibrant. And deserves better. Many know of my work with rescue animals of all species. Strider is no exception. Pulled out of a kill shelter at 11months he had flunked out of police academy and was on death row. He has been a happy boy here guarding me and the property and enjoying life. Please help me save him. he deserves it.
