Help me save Sirius

Hi all
I’m currently sitting in the emergency vet waiting room, counting the 4th hour.
I got home from work around 7pm and immediately noticed sweet angel bb Sirius was badly injured. It looked broken.
The vet confirmed immediately his back hind leg is broken. An X-ray further shows it is from some sort of impact injury(aka not cancer or deteriorating bones aka he probably fell off of something).
A freak accident. A random circumstance and now he is fighting for his life.
The options are to surgically repair the leg ($5000-6000), amputate the leg($3000), surrender him to the humane society, or humanely euthanize him.
I will NOT let him die. He is healthy and full of life. He is only 8 years old. He is so cuddly, kind, weird, playful, curious and occasionally naughty. He turns people into cat lovers. He is truly special.
I must raise the funds for amputation. I cannot handle the thought of having to surrender him, but if it is the only option outside of euthanasia, I’ll do it. I will do anything I can to raise the funds. Please if you can share this or have any ability to donate, I am so appreciative.
Anyone who can donate more than $50, I’ll happily crochet you a cat hat for your own little critter, or a bandanna for your human head.
