Hi! I’m Finlay, and in April, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon but not in your typical running gear. I’ll be running the full 26.2 miles in Save the Rhino’s iconic rhino costume to raise funds and awareness for rhino conservation.

But I’m not stopping there. I’m also aiming to break the record for the fastest marathon time in the rhino suit, which currently stands at 4 hours and 6 minutes. It’s ambitious, it’ll be hot and heavy, but every step will be worth it if it means protecting one of our planet’s most endangered species.

Why Save the Rhino?

Rhinos are under constant threat from poaching and habitat loss, with some species on the brink of extinction. Save the Rhino International works tirelessly with field projects across Africa and Asia to protect these incredible animals and the ecosystems they depend on.

Wearing the rhino costume is not just about fundraising - it’s about raising awareness. By bringing the rhino to the streets of London, I hope to raise not just money, but awareness and urgency around rhino conservation.
