Help me save Rex!

Recently found out that an infection on Rex's ear is actually a possible aggressive cancer. We have the option of doing a biopsy to be 100% sure and possibly saving a part of his ear, which told is a very slim chance. If it comes back positive we have to remove his whole ear before it spreads to a part of his head that wont be removable. The safe option is to just go and remove his ear. Rex has a huge chance at survival through this.
If we can save a part of his ear then that is even better. Either option we need help to save Rex. The procedure is very expensive along with medication following the procedure.
   For those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Rex you know he is a huge sweet heart and loving dog and very goofy sometimes. I have had Rex for 5 years now. He is not just my pet but more of a son to me. He has always been there for me and has never left my side. Please help me be there for him through this.
