Help Me Save Our Pup

We were on the lake this afternoon and our dog was playing fetch like usual. She was enjoying swimming in the water and retrieving it on land. She got back into the water and began to swim in circles. She started to look very tired so I lifted her unto the boat when my sister noticed her stomach had a large rip open. We immediately called our cousin, who is a veterinarian, she said couldn’t tell if it was urgent or not. 

My dad raced her to an animal hospital and there was a four and a half hour wait. So he went to another animal hospital which finally fit her in. 

After racing her around, it turns out that the stick had punctured her abdominals and there could possibly be a stick still in her stomach. My parents are so scared that she is going to be suffering after surgery but my sister and I have grown to love her so much we couldn’t not try to save her. I know some people may think this is absolutely crazy but she’s my dogs best friend and my dog hasn’t stopped pacing since she hasn’t returned home.

She is currently in emergency surgery and with going back to school and my parents being hesitant about having the surgery any donation would be a blessing. She’s our little baby and barely lived her life only being not even two & a half. We would love to take the burden off of their shoulders. Anything and everything will help.

We will keep everyone posted as the surgery progresses as it could go late into the night.
