Help Me Save My Mom: Fighting Breast Cancer Together

We are facing one of the hardest moments of our lives, and we want to be transparent about what’s ahead. Our mother has now also been diagnosed with what is most likely ovarian cancer. We are praying that the tumor is benign, but there is also a terrifying possibility—it could be metastatic. If that is the case, her survival rate drops to just 46%. Less than half.

In about two weeks, she will undergo surgery to remove the entire mass. But as if this battle weren’t already hard enough, we are now facing another devastating challenge: her insurance will lapse on February 1st due to financial hardship. That means she could be fighting for her life without the coverage she desperately needs.

We don’t want to lose her. We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping her in your prayers. Every bit of help brings us closer to getting her the care she needs and deserves.

My mom, Emily at just 42 years old has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever known—a devoted mother of 5 and a proud grandmother to 3 precious grandbabies who adore her. She’s the heart of our family, the one who keeps us strong, the one we all lean on when life feels too heavy.

But now, she’s the one who needs us. A few days ago, our family received news that changed everything—my mom has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The thought of losing her is unbearable, but what makes this even harder is that she doesn’t have health insurance to cover the treatments she needs to survive.

For three of us, this fear is even more painful because we’ve already lost our dads. Knowing what it’s like to lose one parent, we can’t bear the thought of losing the other. My mom is all we have left, and we need her more than ever.

My mom has spent her entire life fighting battles no one should have to face. Life hasn’t been easy for her, but she’s met every challenge with strength, grace, and a smile that hides the pain she carries. She’s the kind of person who gives everything she has—even when she has little—just to make sure her family is okay. Now, it’s our turn to fight for her.

She deserves the chance to beat this, to watch her children grow, and to see her grandbabies take on the world. She deserves the chance to live, not just for herself but for the people who love and need her more than words can say.
