As a result of the current conflict in the Middle East, many pets are being abandoned and left behind as their owners flee the region. In an attempt to support the incredible shelters who are at capacity, I decided to do my bit and take in a foster puppy. That's how I met Ava. She is a beautiful puppy who was found, along with her brothers and sisters, in the desert. They were without any food, water or shelter.
The original plan was to keep Ava until she found her forever home. However, she is sadly still yet to find a family, despite being the most well-behaved and friendly puppy that you could imagine. I am due to leave the UAE in the summer, and I cannot possible entertain the idea of leaving her to return to a shelter after I leave, with an unfairly uncertain future ahead of her.
So, I have made the decision to adopt this wonderful girl myself. I couldn't possibly leave her without the home she deserves.
Unfortunately, relocating a dog internationally is expensive. The total cost is estimated to be around £3,500, which includes:
- Vaccines and veterinary clearance
- Export paperwork and permits
- Flight and travel crate
- UK Import requirements
I am asking for help to cover part of these costs so that I can give her the stable, loving home that she deserves in the UK. Any contribution (big or small) will mean the world to us. Even sharing this page will help massively.
Thank you for helping me to give Ava the loving home that she so deserves!
