I am Suhail, and I come to you today with a story of resilience, hope, and the unyielding spirit of my family and me. We have faced unimaginable challenges in Gaza Strip, surviving four previous wars and enduring over 17 military attacks. However, the recent war has brought a different level of hardship to our lives.
Dear friend, I am Suhail Alaa, 28 years old, a Palestinian from the besieged Gaza Strip, it is not easy to see everything collapsing around me, everything I started and dreamed of, I graduated from the University of Palestine 4 years ago and studied at the Faculty of Finance and Business Administration, Accounting Department. For four years, I did not find a job in my field of specialization due to the 17-year siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, unemployment and lack of opportunities and work, and during this period I worked with a monthly salary that did not exceed $200 per month. I lived through many wars in the Gaza Strip from the beginning of my childhood to this day, since the beginning of the war we have been subjected to genocide, lack of food and drink, and malnutrition, so I decided on the 151st day of the war to prepare this campaign to save my family from the war of annihilation.
Buried dreams and unwavering determination:
Our dreams, aspirations and hard work were buried during the genocidal war and stopped working from the beginning of the war to this day.
Now we have no security, no life, no electricity and no clean drinking water
Since the beginning of the war on Gaza, electricity and water have been cut off and prices have skyrocketed until we are unable to buy basic commodities to survive.
Living in a nightmare
We find ourselves living in a constant nightmare, our daily lives punctuated by the deafening sounds of explosions. Fear is our constant companion, as we struggle to secure clean water, food and medicine amidst scarce resources
