Hello friends, I am Roaa Awad, here is my story.

I left the Gaza Strip before the war, and I am now in exile in Jordan, far from my family and my homeland. I haven't been able to see my family for nearly a year because of the damned war. I've thought a lot about creating this fundraiser, but there's no other option. I can't wait to lose my family. This campaign is the only way to save them. My family consists of 9 members: my mother, father, and my older sister Arwa, a laboratory doctor, and she has 3 children (Raafat, Iman, and Ruaa), and my middle sister Ruba, who finished studying law and was preparing for her wedding at the end of last October in Turkey. Because her fiancé, Iyad, is waiting for her there. The war deprived her of her joy. To get out of Gaza, we urgently need coordination to go to her fiancé, who has been waiting for her for a long time. My brother Khalil is a university student who was about to graduate from the accounting department and has a professional life waiting for him. The youngest, Karam, is a high school student and the pamper of our family, and he suffers from a medical problem with his eyesight.

Please help me save my family. The thought of losing them passes through my mind. I'm so worried that I may never see them again. I have seen many people lose their families and relatives, and this increases my fear and crushes my heart.

My family, who lives in the central region, has suffered from all forms of pain, the worst of it, and is still suffering a lot since last October. They were displaced from our house in Rafah after the army claimed it was a safe area. They escaped death and the danger of Israeli raids several times, then returned to the center after the army’s withdrawal, where devastation and destruction occurred. The devastation caused by the occupation in our house and the area is uninhabitable, and now the occupation is threatening us with eviction again and there is no place except the street, and even tents are not available. They now need the basics of life, including food, water, electricity, and supplies for the child Ruaa, who has reached her first year in the war. I have to get them out of this danger that threatens their lives every second. My heart is almost stopping while I am in exile. I cannot check on them or hear my mother’s voice for many days due to the communication blackout. I am in a state of panic and constant fear of losing one of them.

My younger brother, Karam, suffers from a distortion and weakness in the cornea of ​​the eye, and the doctors in Gaza were unable to treat it under the pretext that there is no cure for it. We did not give up, so we submitted a request for a grant for treatment abroad at the state’s expense, but it has not been issued yet, given the conditions of war and the increasing number of wounded and sick. We will treat him with your donations in this campaign. We cannot wait any longer, as his eye condition is getting worse day by day.

I call on you to ensure the safety of my brother and to help me get my family out and save them from the scourge of war. I cannot accept that my family lives in constant danger like this, nor do I accept the idea of ​​losing one of them. They are life to me. There are Egyptian travel companies that charge fees to be able to obtain transit permits to Egypt. Through the Rafah crossing, the cost is 7 thousand dollars per person. I call on everyone to help me save my family and save my heart, which is breaking with longing and fear for them from the curse of genocide and famine.
