Help Me Save My Dog Jesse - Perineal Hernia Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Patrycja and I’m fundraising for my dog Jesse, who urgently needs surgery for a perineal hernia.
This past week has been incredibly hard for our family. Just a couple of weeks ago, we learned that my grandmother in Poland was gravely ill. Both my parents had to travel to be with her. Tragically, my dad didn’t make it in time to say goodbye, as she passed away just minutes before his flight.
Amidst all this, Jesse started showing signs of serious illness on the same day my grandmother passed. He became lethargic, refused food and walks, and struggled with severe constipation and bleeding. We initially thought it was due to something he ate, but his condition only worsened, with constant vomiting and extreme discomfort.
After multiple vet visits, Jesse was diagnosed with a perineal hernia and urgently needs surgery. Without it, there’s a high risk of intestinal blockage, which could be life threatening. We have been informed that Jesse does not have much time left and that the surgery should go ahead within the next two weeks.
The surgery is estimated to cost €2,500, and with everything happening, I’m struggling to cover it as well as the aftercare that will be needed which is why I am asking for help to raise €4,000. I’ve already spent over €1,000 on his care just this week, but we’re running out of time and money.
With my parents still in Poland and me managing the household, caring for my younger sister, and supporting my family, I’m asking for any help possible to give Jesse the chance he deserves. Even the smallest donation or simply sharing our story would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
