My name is Fidaa Al-Farra.

I am a wife, 34 years old, and a mother of three children: Masa (8), Basma (11), and Mohammed (10). I live in Gaza, specifically in Khan Younis.

Since the beginning of the war, we have been struggling to survive. We lost everything there is no clean water, no food, no safe place.

All my dreams were to provide my children with comfort in their lives and to make them happy, but now I cannot even provide them with the basics. Children cannot bear fear.

We have nothing left. I have lost everything dear to me: my family, my friends, and my home. I am very afraid that I will lose someone else in the coming days.

In addition, I lost my job. I am an IT graduate, but now I have no work. My husband Muhannad’s mini-market was destroyed, and our home was also demolished.

My children are in desperate need of education and stability, and I am unable to provide them with this on my own.

أنا زوجة وأم، عمري 34 سنة، وأم لثلاثة أطفال: مسى (8 سنوات)، بسمة (11 سنة)، ومحمد (10 سنوات). أعيش في غزة، وتحديدًا في خان يونس.

منذ بداية الحرب ونحن نحاول البقاء على قيد الحياة. فقدنا كل شيء — لا يوجد ماء نظيف، لا طعام، ولا مكان آمن.

كل أحلامي كانت أن أوفّر لأطفالي الراحة في حياتهم وأسعدهم، لكن الآن لا أستطيع حتى أن أوفر لهم أساسيات الحياة. الأطفال لا يستطيعون تحمّل الخوف.

لم يتبقَّ لنا شيء. فقدت كل ما هو عزيز علي: عائلتي، أصدقائي، وبيتي. وأنا خائفة جدًا أن أفقد شخصًا آخر في الأيام القادمة.

بالإضافة لذلك، فقدت عملي. أنا خريجة تكنولوجيا معلومات (IT)، لكنني الآن بلا عمل. الميني ماركت الخاص بزوجي مهند قد هُدم، وكذلك بيتنا قد تدمّر.

أطفالي بحاجة ماسّة للتعليم والاستقرار، وأنا عاجزة عن توفير ذلك لهم بمفردي.
