Help Me Save My Car –A Lifeline I’m Fighting to Keep

Hi everyone,

My name is Amy, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. The past five months have been some of the most difficult I’ve ever experienced. Life hit hard, and despite my best efforts to stay afloat, I’m now at risk of losing my 2015 Honda Fit to repossession. This car isn’t just a vehicle it’s my independence, my way to work, and my connection to the people and places that help me move forward.

I’ve been struggling to find stable employment, and the stress of job searching, living on my own, and managing a mountain of bills has been overwhelming. On top of everything, my mental health took a serious toll. I hit a low point where it felt like everything was falling apart at once.

But I’m not giving up.

Little by little, I’ve been finding my way back. I’m working hard every single day to rebuild mentally, emotionally, and financially. I’ve started to find more solid ground, but this looming repossession is a major setback I can’t face alone.

Capital One, the lender on my car, has given me a final deadline the end of April to come up with $6,000 or they will move forward with repossession. Because I’m so far behind, they are not willing to offer any payment plans or other options. I know it’s a lot to ask, and I wouldn’t be reaching out if I had any other way to make this happen.

I’m asking for help not just to keep my car, but to hold onto the stability I’ve worked so hard to reclaim. Any amount you can give will go directly towards saving my car and giving me a fighting chance to keep going strong.
