Hi, my name is Anastasiya and I am here to ask for your help to save our pet, Funny, a Scottish terrier who joined our family 9 years ago and has been our best pal. Funny has always been of great health and sunny disposition so when he started sneezing excessively a couple of months back we didn’t think much until one day there was blood coming out of his nose. The vets suggested infection, then asthma when the condition didn’t improve. Now he’s got difficulty breathing and he sounds like he’s snoring all the time. The eye on the same side as the affected nostril is inflamed and now we’re looking at a grim diagnosis of nasal cancer. After the initial shock and a day of crying we have decided to give Funny a chance: there’s a possibility of a benign growth that can be removed during a rhinoscopie. It’s a procedure that also includes a CT scan and a biopsy that will cost between 5000 and 7000 CAD. It’s a very considerable amount for me and that’s why my kids and I are asking you to help us fund Funny’s treatment. Every dollar will be highly appreciated and will make it possible for us to help our best friend !

Bonjour, je m'appelle Anastasiya et je suis ici pour vous demander de l'aide afin de sauver notre chien Funny, un terrier écossais né en Ukraine. Il a rejoint notre famille il y a 9 ans et est devenu notre meilleur ami. Funny a toujours été en excellente santé et de bonne humeur. Lorsqu'il a commencé à éternuer excessivement il y a quelques mois, nous n'y avons pas prêté attention, jusqu'au jour où il a commencé à saigner du nez. Les vétérinaires ont évoqué une infection, puis de l'asthme, son état ne s'étant pas amélioré. Maintenant, il a du mal à respirer et on dirait qu'il ronfle tout le temps. L'œil du côté de la narine affectée est enflammé et nous sommes confrontés à un diagnostic sombre de cancer du nez. Après le choc initial et une journée de pleurs, nous avons décidé de donner une chance à Funny : il pourrait s'agir d'une tumeur bénigne qui pourrait être retirée lors d'une rhinoscopie. Cette intervention comprend également un scanner et une biopsie, et coûtera entre 5 000 et 7 000 CAD. C'est une somme très importante pour moi, et c'est pourquoi mes enfants et moi vous demandons de nous aider à financer le traitement de Funny.
