Help Me Save Camille, My Beloved Cat

*UPDATE 4/14/2026* Spent all night in the ER last night, after the ultrasound they told me they thought it was lymphoma.. Cancer, the worst thing I could have heard. They sent it out to a radiologist who came back saying she has a GI Infection! I got steroids and antibiotics this morning. Camille has finally eaten for the first time in a week! God is good!

My name is David Miller. I live by myself with my 2 cats, who are my world. I am only doing this as my last-ditch effort at saving my cat Camille. Camille just turned 10 this month (April). She is and has been my everything for the past 9 years. I adopted her when she was 1 from the humane society. Her eyes just begged for me to save her from there, so I did. She is an all-black, long-haired, sleek cat with striking green eyes. I instantly fell in love with her. She is an amazing cat; she is probably the only cat I'll ever have that I can walk outside without a leash and completely trust she will not run away. We would go on a walk every day around the apartment complex I live at, where she chases squirrels and sniffs EVERYTHING.

She fell ill very suddenly last week and is declining too fast. Tuesday, I noticed her not coming out for dinner, which is her favorite time of day by far. I thought, oh, she isn't feeling well. I noticed some throw-up, which she does from time to time, hairballs and whatnot. The next day, she didn't come for dinner again, and I saw her throw up a bunch of water after she drank. I immediately scheduled the earliest vet appointment I could get, which was the following day (Thursday) at 2:30. I brought Camille and had her examined, bloodwork done, and an x-ray. They don't see any real issues. She's very thin and dehydrated. They put some fluids in her, gave her a shot for nausea, and gave me meds to give her: nausea med, stomach liner med, ear cream to stimulate appetite. I had to go out and buy Nutri-gel high-calorie gel, potassium supplement, and supplies. I've been giving her all her meds, trying to feed her baby food through a syringe, and giving her water through a syringe, and she is just declining, and I feel so helpless. I'm doing everything I can.

I brought her back to the vet this morning for any kind of help I can get. They gave her more fluid and a nausea shot and recommended I get an ultrasound done on her as they have no idea what is wrong, but she is dying. They recommended me to a place which is an emergency place about 40 minutes away. I called them, and I just cannot afford to get her the help she needs. The first visit was already over $1000. Between the supplies and the visit this morning, another $400. To get the ultrasound done, it's $170 for the visit, $200 for the consultation, and nearly $500 for the ultrasound. Not to mention whatever the fix may be when we find out what's wrong. I live paycheck to paycheck. I don't even have the money I've already spent, but I love my baby girl more than the world. I will do anything I can to get her better. I am begging anyone for help. I hate to ask for help, but I hate the thought that my baby is going to die because I don't make enough money to keep her alive. This couldn't hurt to try; maybe it will save her life. I pray something does.

I am going to add pictures and vet bills very shortly just as proof.
