Help me recover the boat

Donation protected
Bryan here,

Wow, so people really want me to do this again...but, hold off on any more donations right now. The first recovery try was $5K and we raise $6K. They weren't able to find it (even though a fishing vessel did). I have to wait till Monday or if someone sights it before hand. Monday is when Garmin (some SOS company, wait unit Monday) at 7AM when they open to see if they can ping the device. Everyone is awesome!

So, the boat is floating somewhere about 60 miles off the coast of Chatham and a salvage company is going to go look for it. But, it is about $500 an hour and we only have the coordinates from yesterday...so, cross your fingers. If we can get it. We will go through all of the systems again over the next year, retrain...and launch again next May of 2025...2025 has a nice ring to it.

Thank you for all of your support...I have literally received 200 messages.

Sincerely,

Bryan

I got my start in rowing at Community Rowing, Inc. in Boston MA through their free outreach program that allows Veterans (like myself, go Army) to train in crew rowing for free. This program is designed specifically to help Veterans deal with PTSD and is a lifeline of support for local servicemembers. This program was so influential to me that in 2012, I rowed across the Atlantic (Spain to Barbados) to raise funds for this program. We raised approximately $35,000 to help pay for my excursion and to support the program. It also gave me a springboard to talk about the importance of Veteran care and to recruit other Veterans to the program.

It has been a dozen years since my last row and a lot has changed for me in that time, mostly due to this program. I quit my job as a CPA and started a rowing studio in Brookline, MA where I push people to get in shape and encourage people to row on the water. A big part of my business model over the last five years has been fundraising for non-profits. This will be an extension of that mission.

This time around, I am going to spend a whole year promoting the program and raising funds with a goal of raising $50,000 to support Veterans.

Help me with my London Calling Row!
