My world changed when my son was taken away by his grandparents and sent to live with his father in another state. I have been his custodial parent for three years. Coming from a stay at home mom to a single mom. In that time, I had to find a job and a place to stay. Setting up his speech therapy appointments and all his doctors appointments. Setting up the necessary procedures to help him be healthy and happy. Until as of recently his father decided to up and take him because of my political views. His father has me blocked from my son, so there is no way that I’m able to contact or see my son. As a parent, all I want is to be there for my child and make sure he knows he is loved and supported. I am doing everything I can to be a part of his life, but the legal process to even get shared custody is overwhelming and expensive. I work hard at my job, but the costs of lawyers and court fees are more than I can manage on my own right now.

The funds raised here will go directly toward legal fees, court costs, and helping me support my son through this challenging time. Every dollar will make a real difference in my ability to fight for my rights as a parent and to be there for my child when he needs me most. I am determined to do everything I can to make things right and give my son the stability and love he deserves.

Update: I have recently talk to a lawyer and have the necessary information to pursue custody of my son. With everything that was discussed the fees and it would sum to $3500. Anything would still help at this time.
