Two days ago, my sister Blanca was taken by immigration officers. She was first held in Burlington and then moved to Plymouth. Since then, she has only been allowed two phone calls, and the last time we heard her voice was on the morning of September 26. Officers told us that she was transported out of state, but we don’t know if this is true since I had spoken to her that morning for 2 minutes and she said she was now in Plymouth. Since then, we have not heard anything from her. We have not heard at all from my brother and my sister’s partner. She said they don’t give them food and treat them badly.

When Blanca and our family left for work on Thursday, September 25, immigration was already waiting. They had pictures of them, their cars, and had been watching the family. They even waited for the children to be picked up for school. My family was forced to drive and park at a train station, and then they were detained. Now the children three of them, Blanca’s daughters and Angel’s son, are with me and my husband. Their father, Angel, has also been taken. He is a single father and now cannot care for them.
