On March 1, I underwent a below knee amputation due to a severe infection. This has been a life-changing experience, and I am currently in rehab working hard to recover and adapt to my new circumstances. As I prepare to return home, I am facing some immediate challenges that I need help overcoming.

To be able to get back into my home after rehab, I need a wheelchair and a ramp. The wheelchair will be essential for my mobility around the house and for daily activities, while the ramp will allow me to safely enter and exit my home. Having these will not only help me regain my independence, but also allow me to return to work, as I am able to work remotely from home. My goal is to stay positive and keep moving forward, but I can’t do it alone.
