I live in a Fabulance. A whaaaat ??? - Think #vanlife
It’s a converted ambulance-to-RV)
The transmission died 80 miles from where I call home.
After destroying my life as a result of mental health issues & being severely over medicated and a few rough life ‘bumps’ (really ugly-middle-aged-man-crying-and-snot-bubble-sniffling kinda bumps), I’ve secured a job, a location for my Fabulance once fixed, and life is looking up.
Many people reached out with financial and emotional help to keep me afloat now that I’m mentally clear and excited about re-building creative and entertaining ‘Fabulance’ life. I’ve set this aside to pay for RV park rent, food, clothes for the new job, etc.
A wise old man & dear friend is willing to pay $1000 of the $4100 estimate (plus towing costs) but first I need to secure the difference.
I’ve been so incredibly fortunate to work through a terrible and dark time in my life, remove the medications from my system (12 years until I was so drugged I couldn’t think properly), and end up a completely different person than when I gave up on myself 6 months ago.
Any and all help goes directly to the transmission. I’m selling off everything of value that I can to reach the point that the generosity of my wise friend will put me one step closer to being able to focus on FORWARD instead of my daily struggle and panic of having my home broke down 80 miles from a very good new job.
