Help Me Restore My Dad’s Home and Quality of Life

For the past eight weeks, my father has been suffering in ways no one should have to endure. Once independent and resourceful, he’s now struggling with severe pain, undergoing medical treatments that have left him unable to care for himself. Simple daily tasks—bathing, cooking, even moving around—have become impossible without help.

I’ve been doing everything I can to support him while balancing a full-time job, working over 50 hours a week. But the reality is, he needs more than I alone can provide.

My dad, a veteran relying on VA benefits, has been stuck in an exhausting cycle of waiting—waiting for the care he desperately needs, waiting for approvals, waiting while his condition worsens. The system moves at its own pace, but his suffering doesn’t pause for bureaucracy.

On top of his health struggles, his home has fallen into severe disrepair. Years of disorganization have left it cluttered and unsafe. His roof leaks in multiple places, and mold has started to take hold. Before his health declined, he had been working to clean out his home, hoping to rent out two bedrooms for extra income. But now, he simply can’t do it—his body won’t let him.

That’s why I’m reaching out for help. I need to raise enough money to hire professionals to:

✔️ Repair the roof and stop the leaks

✔️ Remove years of accumulated clutter

✔️ Deep clean the home to make it safe and livable again

My goal is to move in with him so I can care for him full-time. But before I can do that, I need to make sure his home is a place where we can both live safely.
