Hi, my name is Emma, I'm the owner of Vegan Adventure Holidays and I'm fundraising for little Patty, a Guatemalan street dog who deserves a second chance!

I first saw this little dog in a remote area of Guatemala called Patchut around 6 months ago, I camp here with my hiking groups, she was always very sweet-natured and came over for cuddles.

Fast forward 6 months, after a few failed rescue attempts and an amazing international community of people and organisations in Guatemala assisting in the rescue, we found her again!

Patty has very advanced TVT, this is a transmissible cancer that affects dogs and, unfortunately, is rife amongst street dogs. Patty has got a long recovery ahead of her, and I want to do everything I can to give her the very best chance at recovering and finding her forever home, despite everything she's such a sweet girl.

Personal note to finish...

Sometimes, trying to help feels like such a huge mission, it's easier to just give up but, there's a little statement I live by which helped Patty get rescued:
