(Update: Vet Visits) Help Me Rescue Cat
Donation protected
Update 6/16: Ladybug is adjusting slowly but surely. She is still a ways off from being the happy, healthy cat we know she is going to be, so she is staying in foster care for a bit longer to get that 1:1 attention without the stress of another cat. She is also having some tummy issues we are monitoring and we're taking her back to the vet for more testing. Every penny so far has gone into her vet visits, transportation, and food/litter/medication costs. I still have a long way to go and am continuing to look for financial support to help her thrive. Thank you!
Update 4/15: Ladybug had her dental today! She needed to have 7 teeth extracted and even with a discount the bill was over $800. Help us reach our fundraising goal so that she can go to one more check-up and the foster can continue to support her over the next two months before she goes off to her forever home. Thank you to all of those who have supported us in this journey thus far!
Update 4/3: thank you to everyone who helped get this girl (officially confirmed!) off the street. Her first vet appointment was last Thursday and while it was overall positive, she has terrible teeth and needs surgery SOON. They confirmed no microchip but she has been spayed. Help me get her the care she needs

Hi everyone! My name is Jolene and I'm a cat mom to a rescue cat and have experience with cat rescue in NYC.
I came across this sweet baby who was recently dumped and abandoned in Jackson Heights and feel a strong calling to help save her. I can't imagine the pain and suffering she is enduring and want to change her life.
This process is never easy. We will have to trap her, vet her, and then have her in a foster home with no other animals for several months before she can go to her new forever home (which is all costly)!
Our biggest worry is never knowing what to expect from her vet visit (there are always surprises that are big $$), so I am helping raise the funds to take her for a full check-up, before she heads to a foster.
If you prefer to pay the vet directly once we get her in for an appointment, please let us know and we can arrange that. If, for any reason, we cannot get access to her or trap her, the money raised will go to another local cat in need.
Help us save this sweet baby who deserves to live the rest of her days in a warm and loving home! Thank you for your love and support! We will keep you updated on this journey!
