My name is Shaun, and I’ve been dedicated to Scottish cricket for most of my life — as a player, a coach, and now as captain of the Scotland Over‑40s national team.

This October, I have the honour of leading our squad in the World Cup in Guyana, representing our country on a stage that celebrates passion, longevity, and the spirit of the sport.

While the opportunity is incredible, participation is self‑funded. That means covering travel, accommodation, kit, and tournament fees personally — costs that add up quickly. As a father of two and someone who has been heavily involved in grassroots cricket development, taking on the full financial burden alone is challenging.

I’m asking for your support to help me get to the tournament and proudly represent Scotland.

What your donation will support:

Travel to and from the tournament

Accommodation for the duration of the event

Team kit and equipment

Tournament entry fees

Every contribution — no matter the size — directly helps me step onto the field wearing Scottish colours, leading our team, and showcasing the strength of cricket in our country.

If you can donate, share, or simply spread the word, it would mean the world to me, my family, and the wider cricket community.

Thank you for helping make this dream possible.

Shaun
