Help me Represent Mexico on the World Lacrosse Stage
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Francisco. I’m 20 years old, and I’m incredibly honored and excited to share that I’ve been given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent Mexico, my home country, on one of the biggest stages in the world for lacrosse.
I was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico, and now live in Connecticut, where I’ve continued to pursue my passion for lacrosse. This sport means the world to me, lacrosse has shaped my identity, built my character, and given me a sense of community and purpose. It's more than just a game, it's something I live and breathe every day.
Getting to represent Mexico, the country that raised me, is more than just an athletic goal; it's a dream I’ve had since I first picked up a stick. Like many kids, I grew up watching athletes represent their nations on TV, imagining myself in their place. Now, that dream is real, and I’m humbled by the chance to wear my country’s colors and play for something bigger than myself.
Beyond playing, I also spend time coaching youth lacrosse because I believe deeply in giving back and growing the game. I want young players—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds- to see that it's possible to chase big dreams, no matter where you're from. But this journey comes with significant expenses—travel, gear, lodging, training camps, and tournament costs add up quickly. As a college student and part-time coach, it’s tough to cover everything on my own. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to standing on the field, representing Mexico with pride and heart. Your support means more than just money, it’s a vote of belief in my journey, my country, and the power of sports to connect and inspire.
