Hi everyone, my name is Tiesha and I’m a proud First Nations artist, creative, model mentor and community-led fashion organiser, local born and bred in Australia. I’m incredibly excited and honoured to have the opportunity to showcase culture, creativity and community at the upcoming 2026 New York Fashion Week Festival alongside collaborations with local designers and artists.

This journey means so much more than fashion to me — it’s about representation, creating opportunities for Indigenous and remote community creatives, and showing young people that their dreams are possible no matter where they come from. Through modelling workshops, mentoring and creative projects, I’ve always been passionate about empowering others and using fashion as a platform for storytelling, culture and connection.

I’m currently raising funds to help cover flights, accommodation, designer and showcase costs, travel expenses, materials, and other essentials needed to make this opportunity possible. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards helping me represent my community and culture on an international stage.
