Hi! My name is Nyousha (you might know me as Ny) and I’m a boxer representing Vancouver, BC, and Team Canada.

After more than 10 years in the sport, I’ve built my career from the ground up—becoming a multi-time provincial champion, medalling nationally, earning silver at the Canadian Olympic Trials, and having the honour of representing Canada at some of the biggest international stages, medalling at multiple international tournaments such as Gold at Haringey Box Cup.

In 2023, I turned professional and am currently undefeated (5-0). But stepping away from amateur competition never felt like the end of my story. It felt unfinished.

In November 2025, I returned to the amateur ring—and won gold at the Canadian National Championships.

Now, I’ve been selected to represent Team Canada at the 2026 World Cup in Brazil, one of the biggest stages in the sport and a key step toward the 2028 Olympic Games.

But there’s one reality most people don’t see:

This journey isn’t funded.

I’ll be covering the costs of travel, accommodations, training camps, coaching, and time away from work—starting with a full month in Brazil this April, and continuing with international competitions throughout 2026 and 2027.

Like many athletes early in their careers, I’m all-in on this path—but the financial pressure is real. Without support, opportunities like this become incredibly difficult to pursue.

This is bigger than just me.

I represent Canada, my city of Vancouver, and my Iranian roots. I carry pride for the women of Iran, who continue to show strength and resilience despite immense challenges. Every time I step into the ring, I represent the brave women of Iran.

For the past decade, I’ve sacrificed everything—holidays, comfort, stability—to chase this dream. Now I have the opportunity to compete against the best in the world. I just need support to get there.

If you’re able to contribute or share this page, you’re directly helping me represent Canada on the world stage and continue my pursuit of the Olympic dream.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
