Billie Dries - Australian Rodeo Queen Quest Entrant

Hi there! I'm Billie Dries, an entrant in the

2026 Rodeo Queen of Australia

competition. I reside in Charters Towers, North Queensland.

Rodeo Queening has always been big ambition of mine for as long as I can remember. Every year, I’ve watched the crowning of Miss Rodeo America and admired the remarkable women who earn that title.

I have always admired these incredible women and was fortunate to meet Miss Rodeo America 2018, Keri (Sheffield) Smith, and Miss Rodeo Canada, Brittney Chomistek. Their confidence and professionalism inspired me deeply, fueling my passion and drive—not just in the rodeo industry, but for everything I do, whether in my personal life, horses, business, or work.

I’m deeply passionate about the rural industry and western culture, and I’m committed to educating others and ensuring the future of this vital industry—because without agriculture, the world simply can’t function.

I’ve been riding horses since before I could walk, experiencing nearly every equestrian sport imaginable—all thanks to my incredible mother. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Over the years, I’ve competed in pony club, hacking, showjumping, reining, western pleasure, barrel racing, and cutting, but my true passion lies in Reined Cow Horse.

To be eligible for judging week on the Gold Coast, entrants must raise at least $3,500. Additionally, to qualify for the title of Rodeo Queen of Australia, entrants must raise at least $5,000.
