Help Me Represent Australia at the Karate World Cup!
Hi, my name is Kim, and I have the incredible honour of being selected to represent Australia at the GKR Karate World Cup in Telford, United Kingdom in July 2026.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step onto the world stage and compete against the
best karate athletes from across the globe. I have been training for years with the dream of
wearing the Australian uniform and showcasing the discipline, spirit, and dedication that karate
has instilled in me.
Why I Need Your Support
Attending the World Cup is a huge honour, but it also comes with significant costs. The
estimated expense for flights, accommodation, tournament entry fees, and travel costs is around
$7,000 per athlete.
As a Mum and athlete, this is a big financial challenge. That’s why I’m reaching out for your help —
every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to stepping onto the mats in the UK.
How You Can Help
1. Donate — any amount helps!
2. Share this page with friends, family, and networks.
3. Follow my journey as I prepare for the tournament — I’ll post updates on my training
and experiences along the way.
What This Means to Me
Representing Australia at the World Cup is more than just competition. It’s about:
Fulfilling a lifelong dream.
Making my dojo, my family, and my community proud.
Testing myself at the highest level and learning from athletes around the world.
Your support will not only help me get there but will also be with me in spirit as I step into the
ring.
Thank you so much for considering supporting me. With your help, I can make this dream a
reality.
