Hi everyone, I’m reaching out for help during an unexpected and difficult situation. My vehicle was recently totaled by insurance after an accident. While the accident itself was not my fault, losing my car has immediately affected my ability to get to and from work. I rely on my vehicle daily for commuting, and without it, my employment and income are at risk.
Earlier this year, I had invested in a brand‑new transmission, fully expecting this car to last for years. Unfortunately, after additional damage was discovered, the insurance company decided the cost to repair the vehicle was too high and declared it a total loss. Although GAP insurance is currently in process and should eventually resolve the remaining loan balance, I am now without reliable transportation during this waiting period.
Having reliable transportation again will allow me to commute to work, maintain my employment, and support myself during this difficult period. I am reaching out for help and support from my community during this unexpected hardship. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean so much to me and help me get back on my feet.
