Hi! My family and I need help. The truck I’ve driven for the past 14 years, a family vehicle we’ve had for 26 years, was stolen this weekend while I was at a volleyball tournament in Los Angeles. This truck and I have been through a lot, from moves to various road trips during college. It was my only reliable way to get to work, and because my family lives in Northern California while I’m in Southern California, getting around is especially difficult without it. I’ve been laid off twice in the past couple of years, which has depleted most of my savings. To make matters worse, my dad’s small truck was hit in a hit-and-run the night before my truck was stolen. We’ve had some really bad luck these past few days. I’m asking for any help to get a used, reliable car so I can get to work and continue supporting my family.
