My e-bike was stolen in front of Target in the middle of the day. It was a Christmas gift from my mom, and I used it every day to get to school and hang out with my friends. Someone cut the lock and took it while I was inside, and I was really upset when I came out and saw it was gone. It was the only way I could get to school easily, and it meant a lot to me because my mom worked hard to get it for me.

Since then, I’ve been trying to figure out how to get another bike. I’m doing chores around the house and saving up so my mom doesn’t have to pay for a new one. I miss being able to go out with my friends and get to school on my own. I’m also planning to get a stronger lock this time so this doesn’t happen again.
