Help Me Replace My Stolen Business Phone

Hi, I’m Grania, a solo mum of two young girls and the founder of MCR Content Studios, a creative space in Manchester that helps small business owners, content creators, and female entrepreneurs show up online with confidence.

Recently, my phone was stolen.

For anyone who runs their business through their phone, you’ll know it’s not just a phone but it’s your camera, planner, content bank, client contact list, and everything in between. For me, it was the centre of my business and how I manage day-to-day life as a self-employed mum.

A family member kindly loaned me the money to replace it so I could keep running the studio and supporting my clients but I can’t afford to pay him back right now, and the unexpected financial pressure has hit hard.

After I shared what happened, some of my lovely followers suggested I set up this GoFundMe. At first, I didn’t feel right about it , I’m so used to just getting on with it. But then I realised: sometimes you have to let people help you, the way you’d help them if the roles were reversed. If one of you were in my shoes, I’d absolutely do the same.

Most of my followers on @mcrcontentstudios are small business owners and creatives too — people who rely on their phones for filming, managing clients, and keeping everything running. You get how devastating something like this can be.

So, I’m setting up this GoFundMe simply to help me repay the money for my replacement phone and ease some of the financial strain. If you’re able to contribute even a small amount, I’d be incredibly grateful.
