Help Me Replace My Lifeline: A New Mobility Scooter
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Monique , and I’m living with Spina Bifida, a disability that severely limits my mobility. My mobility scooter has been my lifeline—giving me independence, dignity, and the ability to live as fully as possible despite my challenges.
Unfortunately, after years of reliable use, my scooter is now breaking down and no longer safe or dependable. It’s reached the point where repairs are no longer effective or cost-efficient. Without it, simple things like getting to the store, attending medical appointments, or even stepping outside have become incredibly difficult, if not impossible.
I’m reaching out to ask for help in raising $2000 to replace my worn-out scooter with a reliable new one that suits my physical needs. Insurance and disability support won’t cover the full cost, and this expense is simply beyond my current means.
Any contribution—big or small—will bring me closer to restoring my mobility and independence. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this with others would mean so much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and support truly make a difference.
With gratitude,
Monique
