Help Me Replace My Cochlear Implant Mic

Donation protected
I am reaching out for help raise $946 by February 28th to replace the dangling microphone on my cochlear implant and to get backup batteries. The microphone has become a daily annoyance, often dangling against my ear or tickling it, which makes it hard to focus during conversations. It’s also embarrassing when I notice that it catches the attention of someone I’m talking to, making me feel self-conscious and distracted.

On top of that, I lost two batteries last year, and now I’m managing with just one that doesn’t last a full day. There have been times when I forget to charge it, leaving me unable to hear out of one ear for the rest of the day. This makes everyday life much more challenging and unpredictable.

Replacing the microphone will help me feel more comfortable and confident in social situations, and having backup batteries will ensure I can rely on my cochlear implant all day long. Your support would mean so much to me—it would help me regain a sense of normalcy and make daily interactions much easier. Thank you for considering helping me on this journey.

Extra will go towards audiologist bill and other cochlear items.
