Hi, my name is Melondy. I’m currently renting a room while working to get back on my feet and create a stable future for myself. Recently, another resident’s vehicle caught fire, and the flames spread to my car. As the photos show, my vehicle suffered severe damage and is no longer reliable transportation. The front driver’s side, tire, bumper, headlight, and other components were destroyed. What was once my dependable transportation for work, job interviews, appointments, and everyday responsibilities is now unusable.

Losing my vehicle has put me in a difficult position both financially and emotionally. I rely on my car to maintain employment and continue moving forward, and now I’m facing the challenge of finding alternative ways to get to work and handle daily tasks. I am also trying to understand my legal options regarding the damage, which may involve court costs or legal consultations.
