Hi, my name is Cherri, and I’m reaching out with hope—and urgency—in my heart.

Over the past six years, Since becoming disabled, I’ve fought every day to rebuild my life. Slowly, I found my footing again. I’ve become more mobile, taken up hobbies I love, volunteered in my community, and explored new towns. I’ve worked so hard to regain my independence, and every step forward has been a reminder that life can still be full of meaning, adventure, hope and I’m not giving up now.

But my power wheelchair, the one I depend on every day, has broken beyond repair. It’s unsafe, it causes serious pain, and insurance won’t cover a replacement. Without a new chair, I’m at risk of losing the freedom I’ve fought so hard for.

This wheelchair is not just equipment. It’s my legs. It’s my life.
