For the last six years, I have been living with advanced osteoarthritis and atrial fibrillation, which have made it increasingly difficult for me to work on my truck or keep up with necessary repairs. At 61 years old, I rely on my vehicle to stay connected with my family, but lately, it has become unsafe to drive. The steering wobbles, the brakes are worn, and the shocks need replacing. I can't drive it more than 35 miles an hour, and every trip feels risky. Because of my disabilities, I am unable to fix these issues myself, and being on SSDI means my budget is extremely limited. My greatest wish is to surprise my grandkids in California for Christmas.
