After recently losing my housing, I was determined to stay positive and make things work. I had a minivan that I converted into a cozy camper, pouring my time, love, and savings into making it a safe and comfortable place to live. Some generous friends let me park in their yard, and I was grateful to have a roof over my head, even if it was on wheels.
But today, I was hit with another setback: my van’s transmission is shot, and the repair bill is more than I can afford. Without my van, I’m not just losing my home—I’m losing my way to get to work and my ability to continue rescuing animals in Mexico, something that brings me purpose and hope.
I’m reaching out to friends, family, and kind strangers for help. If you’re able to donate or share my story, it would mean the world to me. Every bit of support brings me closer to getting back on my feet and continuing to help others, both two- and four-legged. Thank you for reading and for any help you can give.
