I work in the national parks, traveling between different parks and cities as the seasons change. This lifestyle means I’m always on the move, and my car is absolutely essential for getting to new jobs and handling day-to-day needs. Recently, I came out to Los Angeles to pick up some very important mail, but my car broke down unexpectedly. After speaking with several mechanics, I learned that the fuel pump needs to be replaced, and the repair is more than I can afford right now. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough saved up to cover this expense, especially since my work is seasonal and I’m currently trying to get by with temp jobs.

Without my car, I can’t get to my next job at a national park in the spring, and it’s making it really difficult to manage my daily responsibilities. I’m reaching out for help because I’m in a tough spot and could use some support to get back on my feet. Any contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference and help me continue the work I love in our national parks.
